The University of Digital and AI Management (UniDAIM) has conferred upon Remi Fortunate Onawumi the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Business Management (Honoris Causa), recognizing his executive leadership, entrepreneurial achievements, healthcare management expertise, and contributions across multiple sectors.
Onawumi’s professional journey reflects a distinctive combination of healthcare leadership, entrepreneurship, business management, and community-focused service. He has served in healthcare roles with the State of Maryland and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where his work involved healthcare delivery, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and coordination across clinical teams.
His entrepreneurial career has further demonstrated his ability to lead organizations and develop initiatives addressing important community needs. As Founder and Executive Director of Pathway Resources Center and Director/Administrator of Jenforte Home Health Care in Virginia, he has overseen business operations, strategic growth, workforce development, regulatory compliance, and community partnerships.
Beyond healthcare, Onawumi has expanded his entrepreneurial activities into agriculture through Kings Dominion Agro Farms in Ibadan, Nigeria. His work in this area involves agricultural operations, resource management, sustainable farming practices, and strategic development.
