The Doctoral Degree with Work Experience pathway at UniDAIM recognizes exceptional professional expertise, leadership, and contributions developed through extensive practical experience. Rather than completing a traditional doctoral program, eligible candidates demonstrate their advanced competencies through a portfolio of work and verified evidence of professional achievements. Your experiential learning is assessed against the learning outcomes of a doctoral degree program. Where the required academic standards are met, a doctoral degree may be awarded under the Validation of Acquired Experience (VAE) framework following evaluation and recommendation by the VAE Assessment Committee, comprising scholars and industry practitioners.
- Apply Online: Submit your application using the enrollment form below by providing details about your academic and professional background, including your CV, portfolio of acquired competence, academic certificates, suitability statement, and letters of recommendation.
- Application Review: Our VAE Assessment Committee will thoroughly review your application to assess eligibility and alignment with the degree requirements.
- Assessment Report: You will receive a detailed Assessment Report outlining the committee’s findings. If your portfolio meets the requirements, the committee will recommend you for the award of the degree. However, if your portfolio does not fully meet the requirements, you may be advised to complete additional courses to reach the necessary credit threshold.
- Payment: If your application is approved, you will be invited to complete the one-time administrative payment.
- Degree Conferment: Upon confirmation of payment, UniDAIM will issue your degree diploma and transcript through email.
