UniDAIM Confers Honorary Doctorate on Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim AlMeer for Excellence in Business Transformation

The University of Digital and AI Management (UniDAIM) is pleased to announce that its has conferred the award of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Business Transformation (Honoris Causa) to Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim AlMeer, in recognition of his outstanding executive leadership and transformative impact in the field of urban mobility and digital enterprise transformation.

Mr. AlMeer currently serves as Chief Business Transformation Officer of Dubai Taxi Company, where he played a pivotal role as executive owner of the organization’s landmark Initial Public Offering (IPO). Under his strategic leadership, the company was successfully positioned for an approximate AED 5 billion valuation, achieved a historic 130× IPO oversubscription, and was officially recognized as the largest IPO on the Dubai Financial Market at the time. His leadership guided the organization’s evolution from a traditional taxi operator into a digitally scaled, multi-platform urban mobility enterprise, while maintaining strong profitability and EBITDA margins of approximately 30 percent.

The honorary doctorate also recognizes Mr. AlMeer’s significant contributions to digital innovation, platform development, and enterprise mobility solutions. Notable achievements include the launch of a proprietary customer super app, the digitization of city-wide transport operations, and the structuring of a strategic global partnership with BOLT, which reshaped competitive dynamics within Dubai’s mobility ecosystem. His stewardship further extends to enterprise transport solutions and flagship institutional relationships, including Dubai Airports, demonstrating his ability to lead complex, cross-functional organizations at the highest strategic level.
