UniDAIM Appoints Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Raza as Director of Graduate Studies

The University of Digital and AI Management (UniDAIM) is pleased to announce the promotion of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Raza, formerly Affiliate Professor, to the position of Director of Graduate Studies, effective March 6, 2026.

The appointment recognizes his outstanding contributions to teaching, research, and academic leadership within the global academic community and his growing role in supporting the development of UniDAIM’s academic programs.

In his new role, Prof. Dr. Raza will oversee the development, management, and quality assurance of all graduate programs at UniDAIM. He will work closely with faculty and academic leadership to strengthen the university’s graduate education framework, support students, and ensure high standards of academic excellence across master’s and doctoral programs. His appointment reflects UniDAIM’s commitment to building a strong academic leadership team as the institution continues its development as an innovative online university focused on digital strategy, artificial intelligence, and global education.

Prof. Dr. Raza brings extensive international academic experience to the role. He currently serves as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pathobiology and Biomedical Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at Muhammad Nawaz Shareef University of Agriculture in Multan, Pakistan. Over the course of his career, he has held numerous academic and research positions worldwide, including appointments as adjunct professor in Indonesia and China, visiting scientist in Germany, and research fellow in the United States.

His research focuses on molecular epidemiology of parasites, biological sciences, One Health, and public health, with particular interest in the therapeutic potential of plants in combating antimicrobial resistance. Prof. Dr. Raza earned his PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Dr. rer. agr.) from the University of Kassel in Germany, following earlier degrees in veterinary medicine and veterinary parasitology from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

Throughout his career, he has contributed extensively to academic governance, research collaboration, and curriculum development. He has served on numerous faculty boards, academic committees, and research advisory bodies, and has been actively involved in international academic cooperation initiatives. His scholarly engagement also includes editorial roles in scientific journals and participation in major conferences and research networks across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Prof. Dr. Raza’s achievements have been recognized through several honors and awards, including the Sitara-e-Pakistan Award and the Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal, acknowledging his contributions to science, education, and research leadership.

As a Founding Member of UniDAIM, his appointment as Director of Graduate Studies marks an important milestone in the university’s institutional development. UniDAIM leadership expressed confidence that his experience, vision, and commitment to academic excellence will play a key role in shaping the future of the university’s graduate programs and strengthening its global academic partnerships.
