The University of Digital and AI Management (UniDAIM) is pleased to announce that its Head of Department – AI & Data Science, Prof. J. Somasekar, has been selected as a Keynote Speaker at the 4th International Conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Life Sciences and Healthcare (ICIALH).
The conference will be held on June 17–18, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia, bringing together global experts in life sciences, healthcare, and interdisciplinary research.

About Prof. J. Somasekar
Prof. J. Somasekar (M.Tech, Ph.D., Postdoc – USF, USA) is a distinguished academic with over 18 years of teaching and research experience. He serves as Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bangalore, and as a Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia.
He earned his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTU Anantapur), completed his M.Tech. at National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal (AIR-43 in GATE), and undertook Postdoctoral Research at the University of South Florida, USA.
His accomplishments include:
- Delivery of 270+ invited talks across 12 countries
- Supervision of Ph.D. scholars
- Publication of 50+ research papers
- Authorship of academic books
- Receipt of multiple global awards in AI, Data Science, and Medical Imaging
