UniDAIM Confers Honorary Doctor of Science in Leadership on Erica Reed

Erica Reed holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Healthcare Administration from Belhaven University. She has further strengthened her expertise through professional certifications in Farm Management from Alcorn State University, Produce Safety from Mississippi State University, Interior Design from Stratford Career Institute, and Leadership from Millsaps College. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Leadership, reflecting her continued commitment to advanced scholarship and academic excellence.

A prolific entrepreneur, she is the founder of Bee Inspired Foundation, Reed Farms LLC, and Reeds Enterprise LLC, among other ventures. Through these platforms, she has championed economic empowerment, agricultural development, and community engagement. Her work reflects a commitment to creating opportunities that drive both individual advancement and collective well-being, particularly within underserved communities.

Her achievements have earned widespread recognition, including Entrepreneur of the Year by the Association of African American Farmers and Ranchers, Top 40 Under 40 by the Mississippi Business Journal, and multiple leadership and service awards. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Reed has remained deeply engaged in volunteerism and civic leadership, contributing her expertise to numerous boards, initiatives, and community programs.
